Algarve is a trending destination for 2023

The Algarve is among the top 10 tourist destinations that will be trending this year, according to the report from the international consultancy Mabrian Travel Intelligence. Quality accommodations, air connections, and a diverse range of nature tourism offerings are some of the reasons for this designation.

It is known that the pandemic has influenced travelers' choices, with a growing appreciation for destinations that offer a variety of experiences and quality of life. The Algarve, in addition to its wonderful climate and paradisiacal beaches, also provides nature, tradition, fine wine, culture, sports, gastronomy, and creative tourism.

Algarve Tourism will be present at Fitur, one of the world's largest tourism fairs and a leader for Ibero-American markets. The goal is to showcase the region's attributes, making it one of the country's main vacation destinations. The event will take place from January 18 to 22 in Madrid, Spain. João Fernandes, the president of Algarve Tourism, believes there is still "significant room for growth in the Spanish market in the Algarve, which before the pandemic represented over 1 million overnight stays and 400,000 guests."
