It's called Algarve Eventos, and it's the new website launched by Algarve Tourism to promote activities taking place in the 16 municipalities of the region. This project resulted from an application to the Smart Territories | Transforming Tourism program by Turismo de Portugal.
This new website serves as a tool to boost the promotion of events in the region, even those of smaller scale, and will be very useful for both tourists and residents. You can search for events by category, date, and municipality, and even add them to your calendar or share them on social media.
This platform also represents an ecological step, as it replaces the existing Guia Algarve, which was printed every month, resulting in a paper consumption of about 21 tons per year.
